We Are Looking for a Few Great Ideas
How a nobody wrote Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino."
This is not a typical story, but it shows how luck can work for you as a Milwaukee man wrote the spec script that became Gran Torino.
Another story: Mario Puzo on how the Godfather came to be a book and film.
UPDATES FROM BOB:
Studios are more eager than ever to hear pitches for reality TV shows.
Think controversial. Think outrageous.
What will cause people to talk about a show at work the next day? Those are the ideas Bob is looking for.
For features, romantic comedies are always in demand. Think about how ideas can be adapated. For example, CBS Features just greenlighted a version of Beauty and the Beast set in high school.
Put on your thinking caps.

Back to our introduction...
This is a website for people from all walks of life -- waitresses, cab drivers, mothers, policemen, you name it -- who have a great idea for a movie.
Producer Robert Kosberg, who made "Twelve Monkeys" and is currently producing "The Hardy Men" with Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller, believes that good ideas can come from anywhere and anyone. You can read about Bob and this movie in the July 13 issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Going back a year, Entertainment Weekly profiled Bob here.
So he invites people to submit or "pitch" ideas to him. If he think he can sell the idea, he will pitch them the studios and production companies.
Great ideas are hard to find. Do you have one?
We invite you to read the material on this site and decide for yourself.
